Use of Google AdWords
This website uses Google AdWords, an online advertising program of Google Inc. (“Google”) and in this context also conversion tracking (visit action evaluation). Google Conversion Tracking is an analysis service of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”). With conversion tracking, Google Adwords sets a cookie on your computer (“conversion cookie”) if you have reached our website via a Google ad. These cookies lose their validity after 90 days and are not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages of ours and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognize that someone has clicked on the ad and thus been redirected to our site.
Each AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained with the help of the conversion cookie serves the purpose of creating conversion statistics. Here, only the total number of users who clicked on one of our ads and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag is recorded. However, Thinqist does not receive any information with which users can be personally identified. The processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO from the legitimate interest in targeted advertising and the analysis of the effect and efficiency of this advertising.
You can prevent participation in this tracking process in several ways: a) by adjusting your browser software settings accordingly, in particular the suppression of third-party cookies will result in you not receiving ads from third-party providers; b) by disabling cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain ” googleadservices.com”, https://adssettings.google.de/, deleting this setting when you delete your cookies; c) by disabling the interest-based ads of the providers that are part of the self-regulatory campaign “About Ads”, through the link http://www.aboutads.info/choices, deleting this setting when you delete your cookies; d) by permanently disabling them in your browsers Firefox, Internetexplorer or Google Chrome at the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin.
